Class A CDL Testing
Excel Driver Services’ Class A CDL Testing ensures drivers are fully prepared for their official CDL skills exam under FMCSA-certified third-party examiners. Conducted in compliance with state and federal regulations, the test assesses a driver’s ability to perform a pre-trip inspection, vehicle control maneuvers, and on-road driving. Drivers may test in an Excel Driver Services vehicle or bring their own tractor-trailer. The evaluation includes pre-trip inspection for FMCSA compliance, basic control skills for backing and turning, and an on-road driving test covering defensive driving and traffic law adherence.
Requirements for this Program
- Must have a valid CDL permit
- Must provide a valid DOT Medical Card
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 for interstate driving)
- Must schedule in advance for test availability
