Class B to A CDL Upgrade

Excel Driver Services Class B to A CDL Upgrade is designed for existing Class B CDL License holders to upgrade their license to a Class A CDL License in an expedited driver training program. This comprehensive training covers essential topics such as vehicle operation, safety regulations, maneuvering techniques, and defensive driving skills. It includes both classroom instruction and hands-on training behind the wheel of large vehicles, such as tractor-trailers. It is broken down into Classroom, Lab, Range, and Highway & Street hours.

Before enrolling in the B to A CDL Class at Excel Driver Services, you must complete a road evaluation with one of our instructors. This evaluation ensures you have the necessary driving skills and knowledge to qualify for the course. The assessment helps determine your readiness and identifies any areas that may need improvement before upgrading from a Class B to Class A CDL. The road evaluation is required for class eligibility, and the course fee is $475.

Requirements for this Program

1. Must come to complete a CDL road evaluation to be eligible
2. Must be able to pass a drug test
3. Must be able to pass a DOT Physical
4. Must be 18 years or older
5. Must have your CDL Permit before starting class
