Conducting Road Training
Excel Driver Services’ Conducting Road Training course is designed to equip CDL instructors with the skills to train, assess, and mentor drivers during on-road instruction. This program focuses on real-world driving scenarios, route planning, situational awareness, and regulatory compliance to ensure trainees develop the skills needed for safe and efficient driving. Participants will learn how to coach students through various driving environments, assess vehicle control, and provide real-time feedback on performance. The course is structured into Classroom, Route Simulation, and On-Road Training.
Requirements for this Program
- Must have a valid Class A or B CDL
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving or training experience
- Proficiency in route planning and defensive driving techniques
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
