XR Passenger Backing

Excel Driver Services’ XR Passenger Backing training program is a simulation-based course designed to help drivers master essential backing maneuvers for shuttle buses, transit buses, and motor coaches using Extended Reality (XR) technology. This hands-on training ensures drivers can confidently perform FMCSA-compliant backing techniques before their CDL test or real-world operations. The program covers straight-line backing, offset backing, parallel parking, and alley docking, with instant feedback and performance analytics to enhance precision and confidence in high-traffic and confined environments.

Requirements for this Program

1. Must be able to pass a drug test
2. Must be able to pass a DOT Physical
3. Must be at least 18 years old
4. Must have a valid CDL permit with a Passenger (P) Endorsement
5. Must have access to an XR-compatible training facility or system
