XR Passenger Driving

The XR Passenger Driving training program is a simulation-based course designed to help drivers master on-road maneuvers, passenger safety procedures, and FMCSA-compliant operations. Utilizing Extended Reality (XR) technology, this program provides a realistic, hands-on learning experience, ensuring drivers develop safe and efficient driving techniques for shuttle buses, transit buses, and motor coaches. Through interactive, scenario-based modules, drivers practice passenger pick-up and drop-off procedures, urban navigation, highway driving, and emergency response while responding to traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, and real-world hazards. The program offers real-time feedback and performance analytics, ensuring drivers are fully prepared for CDL testing and passenger transport operations.

Requirements for this Program

1. Must be able to pass a drug test
2. Must be able to pass a DOT Physical
3. Must be at least 18 years old
4. Must have a valid CDL permit with a Passenger (P) Endorsement
5. Must have access to an XR-compatible training facility or system
